Newtown to mark 4th anniversary of Sandy Hook massacre
(AP) - Newtown, Connecticut, is planning today to mark the fourth anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting with a moment of silence.
It was Dec. 14, 2012 that 20-year-old Adam Lanza went to the schoolhouse and killed 20 children and six educators after killing his mother in her home.
Lanza then killed himself. There will be 15 minutes of silence, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
