Residents fed up with trucks causing wreckage to overpass

Residents are fed up with what seems to have become a regular occurrence of trucks having trouble clearing the Avenue K overpass.

Trucks that are too tall for the 10 feet 8 inch clearance are causing wreckage as they try to pass through.

"When they pass, it's like an atomic bomb, and all the buildings shake because of it," one resident said.

The Avenue K overpass sits nearly 2 feet lower than the one a block away on Avenue l.

Residents suggest more warning signs need to be put in place ahead of the overpass.
