Man accused of punching CVS employee in the face during robbery

A man is accused of punching a CVS pharmacy worker in the face after the employee confronted him for stealing. 



The incident happened on Dec. 9 inside the CVS pharmacy on Kings Highway around 4:45 a.m. 



Police say the suspect entered the store and began removing items from inside.



On his way out, police say he punched a store employee in the face after being asked about the items. 



The employee suffered swelling and bruises, but refused medical attention at the scene.



The suspect was seen taking off near on East 29th Street.
