Sunset Park book exchange targets young readers

A Sunset Park resident opened a new book exchange for young readers.

Tony Giordano says his group is now circulating about 350 books in the community.

Participants can browse the selection, take a book home and return it when they're done -- or just keep it.

"If you really love the book, you can keep the book," Giordano says. "We'll replace it."

The selection is geared toward third-graders and younger children.

"We don't put older age kids' books in here, because it's easy enough for them to access the library," Giordano says.
