New restaurant lets patrons stream their meals

A new restaurant in Prospect Heights is getting its patrons involved in a whole new way.

The spot called Live on Air has cameras and microphones throughout the restaurant that allow people to stream live to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Customers who stream on their own devices will receive a 10 percent discount.

The restaurant is hosting an artist collective Thursday night starting at 6 p.m., and the owners are asking all singers, songwriters, comedians, poets and anyone else to come out and join in on the live fun.

The Flatbush Avenue restaurant has been open for less than two weeks.
