Police arrest robbery suspect after he flees, hits pedestrian

Police arrested a man after observing a robbery on Graham Avenue Tuesday night.



Police says when officers went to arrest the man, he immediately fled and jumped into a van.



They say the van then jumped the curb and struck a 71-year-old woman,



The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.



The suspect went on to hit several parked cars, including a police car.



He was taken into custody a short time after.



The investigation is ongoing.
