NYPD: 3 arrested in gun trafficking ring

Two men and one woman were arraigned Wednesday on charges related to an interstate gun trafficking case involving more than three dozen firearms.

Police accuse the suspects of bringing the guns from South Carolina and eventually selling them in Brooklyn to an undercover officer.

The Brooklyn District Attorney's Office says the woman was primarily responsible for money transfers related to the trafficking.

Investigators say the suspects trafficked handguns and an assault rifle.
