Police: Deliveryman assaulted during Bed-Stuy robbery

Police are asking for help finding two men involved in a delivery truck robbery last month in Bedford-Stuyvesant.



Officials say on Dec. 8, a 22-year-old delivery man was attacked after refusing to give in to the demands of the robbers.



The incident happened around 11 p.m., officials say.



The victim was making a food delivery to 260 Herkimer St. when two men broke away from a larger group and approached his truck demanding food.



When the victim refused, officials say one of the suspects punched him in the back of his head.



The suspects are described by police as being in their late teens or early 20s.
