3 accused of assaulting man during Brooklyn home invasion

Three men are accused of assaulting a man during a home invasion in Brooklyn, police say. 



The incident happened on Jan. 1, inside an apartment building on West 33rd Street around 8:50 p.m.



Police say the three knocked on the door and forced their way in after a 53-year-old man answered.



One of the men struck the victim in the face with a gun before robbing him and another man inside.



The suspects got away with $160. 



The 53-year-old man was transported to Coney Island Hospital and is expected to be OK.
