Police release image of car suspected in Brooklyn drive-by shooting

Authorities have released a surveillance image of a car they say is involved in a drive-by shooting in front of two East New York schools that left one man injured.

The shooting happened Monday at 877 Schenck Ave. near the Imagine Me Leadership Charter School just before 2 p.m.

Investigators say a 21-year-old man was shot in the leg and hand. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital and is in stable condition.

Both of the schools were closed due to Martin Luther King Day, and no students were inside.

The suspect's car is described as a white-colored four-door wagon.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
