Brooklyn entrepreneur featured on ABC's 'Shark Tank'
A young entrepreneur from Brooklyn who created a new toy was featured with his company on a popular reality television series.
Vladislav Smolyanskyy, 21, created toy company Pin Block when he was 19.
"I'm still obsessed with my own product," he says. "Sometimes I have board meetings and I'm stuck on finishing building this new creation I'm making."
Smolyanskyy and his company were recently featured on ABC's "Shark Tank," a show where entrepreneurs pitch their companies to successful investors.
"I went into the tank expecting things to go smoothly," Smolyanskyy says. "I expected sharks to fight for me because we have a unique product but what happened was that the sharks, one right after the other, went out because they don't want to get involved in the toy industry."
The Pin Block starter pack costs $19.95.
