Schools chancellor takes students on college tour
Seventh-grade students and their parents received a VIP tour of Brooklyn College Thursday morning, courtesy of New York City Schools Chancellor Carmen Farina.
About a dozen students from the Cyprus Hills Community School took the tour, led by Farina, who graduated from Brooklyn College.
They got a look at the library and campus as a whole.
The Department of Education says that just over 70 percent of high schoolers graduate -- a record number.
