2 hospitalized after DSNY truck backs into car

A New York City sanitation truck backed up into a car sending two people to the hospital and causing damage to the vehicle Friday, sanitation officials say. 



The incident happened on 51st Street and 4th Avenue around 1:30 a.m. 



Both the driver of the truck and the car were transported to the hospital with injuries. 



Officials did not say if the injuries were serious.
