High wind gusts, rain hit Sheepshead Bay

High wind gusts and heavy rain hit Sheepshead Bay Monday as part of the year's first nor'easter.

Windswept rain moved through the neighborhood, causing waters on the bay to increase in choppiness.

Due to the storm, a usually busy Emmons Avenue saw very little pedestrian traffic.

City officials urged residents to keep indoors if possible.

The National Weather Service issued a high wind warning for all of New York City through Tuesday morning.
