Man claims $2.5 million lottery earnings at Brooklyn deli

A Queens native was presented with a check for $2.5 million Wednesday after he bought a winning lottery ticket in Brooklyn.

Patrick Clarke won the New York Lottery scratch-off game "Set for Life" on Dec. 20, his 28th birthday. He bought the ticket at Friendly Deli and Grocery on Saratoga Avenue.

The young father says he intends to buy a home and take care of his children with the money he won.

The New York Lottery says Clarke was the 95th player to claim a prize over $1 million last year.
