Snow creates messy commute in Brooklyn

Officials urged drivers to use caution during the evening commute Tuesday, although snowfall in Brooklyn amounted to little.

Some residents downplayed the light dusting. Less than an inch of snow stuck to the ground in most parts of the borough.

"I actually like the snow, but I don't like it when it gets too deep," said Timothy Emery, of Canarsie.

Officials also advised pedestrians to bundle up and find ways to keep warm.
