Officials: Man lit 4 fires in Brownsville grocery store
Investigators are searching for a suspect who they say lit several fires inside a Brooklyn grocery store.
The incident occurred on Jan. 30 at the Food Bazaar in Brownsville.
Surveillance video shows the suspect walking into the store just after 6 p.m. He can be seen going over to a display, which then went up in flames moments after.
While workers were trying to get the flames under control the suspect then continued on to three other parts of the store and set a total of four separate fires throughout it.
Police say store employees used water bottles and hose to contain the fire until FDNY crews arrived.
Authorities say no one was injured.
Officials also say that after leaving the store, the suspect got on a westbound B14 bus.
