Forecast: Bitter cold follows snowstorm

Bitter cold will sweep into Brooklyn Thursday night, according to forecasts, even as skies clear and snow moves out of the region.



Lows are expected in the mid- to upper-teens, with wind chills in the low single digits, according to News 12 meteorologists.



Friday will remain below freezing with highs near 30 and the chance of minor snow showers at night.



Temperatures will warm into the low-40s over the weekend with a chance of rain on both days, according to forecasts.
