Police: Group threw teen girl onto subway tracks

A group of people attacked a 16-year-old girl and pushed her onto the tracks at the Utica Avenue subway station Sunday evening, police say.

The attackers formed a group of between 10 and 15 people, according to authorities.

The victim says she knows the attackers and that they also robbed her of personal belongings.

She was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.

Anyone with information on the attack is asked to call police.
