Forecast: 6-8 inches of snow possible on Thursday

Temperatures will range from unseasonably warm to below freezing this week, News 12 meteorologists say.

Clouds and scattered showers should linger overnight Tuesday, with highs in the upper-40s, according to forecasts.

A light fog will follow Wednesday morning, and temperatures may climb near 65 degrees.

But Thursday, forecaster say temperatures could drop into the 20s and bring snow to the borough. Snow totals are expected to range from 1 to 3 inches in the morning to up to 8 inches later in the day.

Favetta says single-digit wind chills will most likely follow for Friday, with highs near 30 and lows near 25.

The weekend will see temperatures in the low to mid-40s and the possibility of scattered rainfall.
