Families dig out after significant snowfall in Brooklyn
Families banded together across the borough Thursday to dig out from under the near foot of snow that was dumped across the region.
News 12 reporter Katie Cummings was in Flatlands where the Huynh family was shoveling their driveway and using a snowblower.
When the snow subsided in the afternoon, skies were clear and the sun came out.
Temperatures, however, will remain very cold in the 20s, with wind chills near 0 tonight.
