Snow, ice slow commuters

Though many New Yorkers had a snow day Thursday and got to stay home, some still had to go to work.

With very few buses running in the morning, early commutes took much longer than normal. Some riders told News 12 it took them almost twice as long to get to work.

"I was prepared," said Audra Williams. "Just keep trooping on like a true New Yorker."

Subway users, on the other hand, said they didn't notice much of a difference.

Roads remained slippery for the evening commute.
