Brooklyn man found dead inside jewelry store

A Brooklyn man was found dead inside the bathroom of his family's Manhattan jewelry store with zip ties around his neck and blood on the floor, police say.

Omid Gholian, 43, of Brooklyn, was found by police Wednesday night at the Tribeca storefront on Church Street.

Police say they went to the store after Omid's brother reported him missing. Gholian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The NYPD is calling the death suspicious, and a medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
