Man critical after large street fight stabbing in Brownsville

A 26-year-old man was stabbed twice after a street fight involving at least a dozen people in Brooklyn, police say.



The incident happened Monday near the intersection of Belmont and Stone avenues in Brownsville around 8:30 p.m.



Surveillance video shows a large group punching and kicking a man lying on the ground. At some point during the altercation, police say the 26-year-old was even stabbed once in the chest and arm.



He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where he remains in critical condition.



The crowd dispersed before police arrived.
