NYPD to hold public meeting after large gang bust in Crown Heights

The NYPD announced it will hold a public meeting with the community to discuss a recent gang bust at the Kingsborough Houses in Crown Heights.

The meeting will be held Friday at 6 p.m. at the Mount Zion Baptist Church.

The 73rd Precinct says the meeting is intended to debrief the community on the NYPD's recent efforts to crack down on gang-related activities at the Kingsborough Houses.

At least 20 gang members from the gang 'Money Petey' were arrested following a four-month long investigation, police say.

Those arrested are facing a wide range of charges including weapons and drug possession.
