Police release surveillance video of East New York drive-by shooting

Police have released surveillance video of a drive-by shooting that injured a man and a woman outside of an East New York apartment building.

The 23-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were shot outside of the Hendrix Street building Wednesday after a man driving a gold-colored minivan began firing shots around 2 p.m.

They say the man was shot in the arm and the woman was shot in the leg. According to police, a dispute occurred inside the lobby of the building shortly before the shooting.

Surveillance video shows the suspect leaving the scene in the minivan.

He was last seen wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt.

Both victims were taken to Brookdale Hospital. They are expected to be OK.
