Rebuilding continues 9 days after fire

Clinton Hill landlords say they're working with the city and private contractors to repair a building damaged in a Valentine's Day fire on Myrtle Avenue.

The blaze displaced 16 tenants and shuttered the Putnam's Pub and Cooker restaurant downstairs, they say.

The building has had no heat or water for the past nine days, and walls and doors throughout the building have been destroyed.

The city says that while it has issued a permit for the repairs, it has not yet received an inspection request. Once an inspection is finished, Con Edison can restore gas to the building.
