Bomb threat evacuates multiple Park Slope schools

Students were evacuated from multiple schools occupying a Park Slope campus Thursday after reports of a bomb threat, according to police.

The threat was called in around 12:20 p.m. to a student at the John Jay Educational Campus, which houses the Secondary School for Law, the Secondary School for Journalism, Park Slope Collegiate and Millennium Brooklyn High School.

All four schools were evacuated, and police later gave the all-clear after nothing was found.

"The John Jay Campus in Brooklyn was temporarily evacuated today," the Department of Education said in a statement. "The threat was immediately reported to the NYPD and students re-entered the building after officers conducted a thorough search and cleared the area. Students and staff are safe and families are being notified."
