Brooklyn bars prep for crowds during ACC Tournament

Bars near the Barclays Center are preparing for the much-anticipated ACC Tournament.

Myrtle and Gold, located on Gold Street, and The Montrose, on Fifth Avenue, have stocked up on beer and say they are ready to take in the large crowds.

The Montrose's general manager tells News 12 that his bar has ordered double the amount of beer and double the amount of food, and that it will have double the staff.

The Montrose will be open for fans beginning at 10 a.m., instead of when it typically opens at 4 p.m.

The ACC Tournament starts on Tuesday.
