Brooklyn residents vow to stay fit in 2012
It's the start of a new year and for many, that means it's time to make good on plans to get in shape in 2012.
Some city residents, including Ginette Liautaud, are already off to a strong start at Planet Fitness. Liautaud says this year is going to be different.
Trainers say the best way to get in the habit of working out is to start by walking or running on the treadmill. Others say to try group exercise classes and not to lose sight of your goals.
