Department of Transportation crews have finished repaving streets in Borough Park and Bensonhurst, giving motorists a smoother ride through their neighborhoods. City Councilman David Greenfield (D-44th District) has worked with the DOT to fix 43rd, 46th, 56th and 59th streets, as well as sections of 9th Avenue. Greenfield spearheaded the project to make traveling easier for drivers, cyclists and bus riders. Traffic tickets were issued to some residents whose cars were blocking the construction.
