Petition launched to make subways more wheelchair friendly
An online petition is collecting signatures to get the MTA to make the city's subway system more wheelchair friendly.
Commuter Michele Kaplan launched the petition after getting trapped while wheeling into a train car. She says the conditions are dangerous and wants MTA officials to regulate the accessibility of all subway platforms.
More than 350 people have already signed on to join Kaplan's cause.
