Cops: Teenage gunman behind Ocean Hill playground shooting
Police say the gunman who opened fire at a Brooklyn playground Monday night, wounding four teenagers, is also a teenager.
According to cops, the boy, believed to be about 16 years old, rode his bike into a park full of children near Fish Playground in Ocean Hill at around 6:30 p.m. They say he fired shots toward the crowd, hitting four people, including a 13-year-old girl who was grazed on her back.
The crime happened near a drive-by shooting last month that injured six people in Brownsville, including a 2-year-old girl. Neighbors say it's time for some real solutions to get guns off the streets.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
