The city has announced it is suspending filming permits along a popular Greenpoint street while construction takes place, to the delight of many residents.

The city suspended filming along Nassau Avenue while an infrastructure project is completed. The suspension of filming has many residents and business owners hoping that the spots usually lost to filming will be returned to them for a while.

The construction is expected to continue until mid-October.
