Business is booming for some Cobble Hill mom-and-pop shops, despite an ever-changing community.
According to a Crains New York study, longtime local store owners are doing well, including D'Amico foods on Court Street, which has been catering to its regular customers since 1948.
Crains estimates that there are about 18 mom-and-pop shops that are more than 50 years old in the neighborhood.
