Mayor Bloomberg and other city officials toured a massive rooftop farm at the Brooklyn Navy Yards.
The 68,000-square foot farm is the largest in the city, and the produce grown will go to local shops and restaurants.
The farm may also help reduce sewer overflow into the East River by absorbing a large amount of rainwater.
