Residents rally against homeless shelters in East New York
A group of residents gathered today in East New York to protest the number of homeless shelters in their neighborhood.
Residents say there are more than 10 homeless shelters in East New York alone and a new, 200-bed women's shelter opened only a few months ago. They say it is unfair that their neighborhood is forced to carry more than its fair share.
