The NYPD has announced that it's holding the first gun buyback of 2012 in Brooklyn this weekend.
The program gives people a chance to exchange handguns for a $200 bank card; no questions asked. Officials say the effort has taken 8,000 guns off the streets since it began.
You can turn in your weapons Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Bedford Presbyterian Church at 1200 Dean St.
