The Parks Department and Community Board 6 recently met to discuss a total facelift to the DiMattina Playground dog run.
The Parks Department tells News 12 Brooklyn the dog run is expected to double in size. New amenities will include separate spaces for different-sized dogs and doggie drinking fountains.
Dog owners also have some upgrades to look forward to, among them new benches and security lighting.
