Hikind wants answers on suspect's release

Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) expressed outrage today over the release on bail of a man charged with making threatening, anti-Semitic phone calls to women in the southern part of the borough.
Hikind is furious that the man, David Haddad, was released on only $2,500 bail.
The judge who released Haddad set his bail at that amount despite a recording in which Haddad allegedly said all Jews "must die."
