Bed-Stuy company pushes homeowners to hire teens
A Bed-Stuy company is making a push to give Brooklyn teens a brighter future.
The Foot-Soldiers Cleaning Service is working to get new homeowners to sign up for their services, which allows area youth to earn a stipend for cleaning properties.
Officials say the company's program also gives teens academic support, workshops and exercise classes.
