Three former NYPD officers from Brooklyn have pleaded guilty for their roles in a smuggling case involving guns, cigarettes and slot machines.
Joseph Trischitta and John Mahoney, of the 68th Precinct, and Gary Ortiz, of the 71st Precinct, are among five NYPD officers charged back in October.
The three cops pleaded guilty to conspiracy Monday. The two others also pleaded guilty earlier this month.
