CO scare sends 6 Flatbush tenants to the hospital

Six people were rushed to the hospital following a carbon monoxide scare in Flatbush early this morning.

According to officials, someone called police at around 1 a.m. reporting that they felt nauseous. First responders quickly evacuated the entire apartment building at Cortelyou Road and East 21st Street.

Emergency officials are not releasing the ages of the tenants who were taken to the hospital for possible poisoning, but say that everyone is expected to be OK.

The source of the carbon monoxide is being investigated.
