Aide to Rep. Michael Grimm arrested, suspended
A staffer for Rep. Michael Grimm (R-Brooklyn) has been suspended following an arrest for assault, officials say.
Published reports say Liam McCabe was charged with assault after a scuffle with his teenage son outside of a Brooklyn school.
According to the New York Daily News, McCabe was picking up his son on Friday after staff at the school caught the 14-year-old with marijuana.
Officers allegedly saw McCabe grab his son's arm and shake him.
