Bicyclists rode to City Hall today to make their voices heard on the issue of questionable enforcement of traffic laws when a bicyclist is struck by a car.

Protesters say that many times, when a bicyclist is struck by a driver, even when the driver is at fault, the driver is not prosecuted. Others countered that it is often the bicyclists who are failing to obey the law.

NYPD Deputy Chief John Cassidy said that even though they have fewer officers on the road, the number of overall traffic fatalities is down citywide.
