Bloomberg calls out Congress on illegal gun sales

Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino may have been on opposite sides of the football field, but the two are on the same team when it comes to stricter gun-control laws.

The mayors appeared in a Super Bowl commercial together to call attention to illegal gun sales. "You'd think that if a congresswoman got shot in the head, that would've changed Congress' views," Bloomberg said.

Bloomberg also appeared on NBC's "Meet the Press," where he said the shooting of Brooklyn officer Kevin Brennan last week could have been prevented.
