Police arrest 4 in armed home invasion

Police in Brooklyn have arrested four men who they say are responsible for an armed home invasion and sexual assault that took place on Monday afternoon.

According to investigators, a Brownsville woman came home to discover that her two roommates have been tied up and their personal items have been stolen. One of the victims was sexually assaulted by the suspects.

Police say the four suspects snuck into the apartment, pointed a gun at the women, ages 22 and 24, and tied them up. The four suspects later fled, getting away with laptops, cash and jewelry.

The suspects are facing a laundry list of charges that include robbery, sex abuse and menacing.
