A Bed-Stuy playground has been named after a Brooklyn block that officials say is a symbol of renewal.
The Heritage Row Playground within Pulaski Playground received its name in honor of the Heritage Row Houses on Hart Street. The 12 homes were built through Habitat for Humanity in 2000.
During the unveiling, city officials also announced that the field will undergo a $1.45 million renovation.
