LIU Brooklyn's elimination from the NCAA tournament not only marks an end to the season, but also the end of the road for Michael Culpo.
The lead scorer is one of two graduating seniors. He averaged eights points per game and is fifth in Blackbird history for three-pointers made.
Culpo said that as the final seconds of his basketball career wound down, he thought about great moments, including getting to the big dance twice and teammates who became family.
