Religious display catching eyes in Borough Park

Jewish residents say anyone offended by a display in Borough Park for the Jewish holy day Purim don?t understand the symbolism.

The display features 11 mannequins hung across 12th St."There was a man named Hamman and he wanted to kill all the Jews and at the end they hang him and all his sons instead,? says Barry Spira. ?That's the story of the celebration we celebrate. This is the story that happened in the past.?

The display is expected to be taken down this week, as Purim ends this evening.
